Karam Kodu is a non-profit organization supported and backed by young and compassionate social activists. Founded on November 14 2018, it has been a primary motive for us to steer the organisation towards a world that we’d love to see ourselves in. Each day, we find conventions that might look a lot more acceptable in the long run when mixed with a tinge of reality. And we work ourselves to fashion a change that will bring about positive vibrations that can resonate throughout our society in the same bandwidth. This way, we not only contribute or provide but also gather and empower like-minded people together who’d love to feel the contentment in not only seeing but living change.
- Education is the sharpest tool which when honed at the right side not only helps to sculpt ourselves the life of a library but also to set things right. At Karam Kodu, we identify potential students stuck at crossroads due to lack of resources and craft them the right path to help them see the opportunity at the end of the tunnel.
- At the very end of each day, all that we need is a home. And it is our responsibility to keep our home from being hunted for the surplus. Our volunteers at Karam Kodu make sure that the earth and her resources are being restored for the future and help refine her natural course.
- We also identify people who’ve always been on the receiving end and have never seen how it is to live a life of independence and interdependence. We identify people living on the roads searching for a life of dignity and help them build one filled with happiness and a future they’d love to look forward to.
- There’s no boundary to define the kind of work that we do. We are mere droplets standing near the roots waiting to travel all the way up the shoot to grow perfectly healthy and happy fruits. All along our way we cross multiple nodes, few of which might have been laid strong but a lot that needs that extra support to pull itself together. And that is exactly what we do and how we ink our names in any social cause that has not resounded enough to reach the masses.
