With this in mind, at different centres acknowledged by KaramKodu, we help students cope with their academics, enhance their communication through creative activities and games. We also conduct regular career guidance programs and health and fitness sessions. A balanced and holistic approach is carried out, gearing with the skillset to thrive in today’s modern and fast-paced world. Education can bring about change at the very foundation of perception, by making decisions for every knot one might have to untangle during their lifetime. In the long run, this leaves a positive impact not only in their lives but for the entire society or the world as a whole. Karam Kodu strives to release into mankind the seedlings for a new society equipped with knowledge as the supreme power, a society soon to be filled with intellectuals who can understand the effects of social stimuli and differentiate its influence and effect over time, making self-impacting decisions that contribute to the change that every one of us envisions.

She practically gives us everything that we require for our survival. Maybe that’s why we call her Mother Earth. We made it a point and fixated ourselves on the fact that it ultimately becomes her responsibility to fulfil our needs and wants even if things go out of hand or fall out of line. We have almost left her parched just to see ourselves a life of comfort and luxury. But are we treating her right? Did we take too much of an advantage? Climate change is caused due to a chain of events that trace back to how unfair we have used up our planet to suit our needs. We haven’t given much thought about how much we have saved for the next generation. Our deeds only make it worse for them to fetch even the basic of amenities. Karam Kodu has decided to act on this issue in the most unique way possible. Our motive is not just to promote afforestation or help water bodies and other natural resources find back their natural course but also keep a record of active resources and their health status. Every volunteer adopts a sapling and nurture it to their fullest, and grow it into a majestic tree full of life. Each planted spot is marked with its geographical coordinates. The saplings’ growth and health are kept track of and documented from day one. Also, we meet up every month for activities to wipe the slate clean for our environment and start afresh like a cleanup or a lake restoration. This way, we ensure constant vigilance and unfettered care like we promised ourselves when we took our oath to contribute to nature.

Every night, we feel that we’d survived the day when we look forward to how tomorrow would be or what tomorrow holds for us. The amount of happiness of having lived today is measured by the different colours of hope we look forward to for a vivid tomorrow. But certain people live with perfectly sketched dreams and desires with the least amount of support or resources to draw their dreams into reality. There are people showering love and happiness to everybody around but haven’t been shown with even the slightest bit of concern or appreciation. Karam Kodu identifies people with brightly painted desires and helps them find the right colours to decorate their reality on canvas. Every Sunday, we distribute food packets to the less-sound classes of our society, sit with them and talk about their week and more. From how much they’re willing to open up, we gather methods of rehabilitation that would support them, either through family or via certain institutions. We spend time with them to make them feel heard and inclusive. Because in the end, all they need is a sense of contentment of living the day more than a game of survival of the fittest; a sense of satisfaction to have walked a day towards fulfilling seeing their dreams come true. And Karam Kodu reaches out to such positive, deserving yet realistic people and helps them decorate their canvas of reality.
